Ring of Kerry Jewellery was born from a long-standing connection with Irish design, craftsmanship and the jewellery trade, together with a love of the stories and symbols that make Irish jewellery so distinctive.
My own background in the industry goes back many years. I worked closely with the design team at Waterford Crystal, while selling to jewellery stores throughout Ireland. I spent a great deal of time travelling around the country and, in particular, along the Ring of Kerry.
That experience gave me a real appreciation for what visitors to Ireland look for when choosing a piece of Irish jewellery: something beautiful, certainly, but also something with a genuine connection to Ireland and a story behind it.
Jewellery Inspired by Ireland
That idea is at the heart of Ring of Kerry Jewellery.

The Meaning of the Claddagh
Few Irish designs are more recognisable than the Claddagh.

Connemara Marble is particularly special.

One lesson I learned from years of working with jewellery stores around Ireland is that people remember the story behind a piece.
That is why we place so much importance on explaining the meaning behind our jewellery.
When someone gives a Claddagh Ring, chooses a Celtic pendant or wears a piece containing Connemara Marble, we want them to understand the Irish tradition and symbolism that comes with it.
It is also why the story accompanying our jewellery is important to us. The piece itself may be small, but the history and meaning behind it can be enormous.
Ring of Kerry Jewellery
The Ring of Kerry is one of the most beautiful and recognisable parts of Ireland, visited by people from around the world and closely associated with the landscape, heritage and character of the country.
For me, having spent so much time travelling the area while working with jewellery retailers, it was a natural inspiration for the name Ring of Kerry Jewellery.
Today, our aim is simple: to offer beautiful Irish jewellery that people can wear, give as a gift and keep as a lasting reminder of Ireland.
